Liberation:

By Kyle on April 11, 2007 in mp3blog

Talib Kweli claims that his new album won't sound much like his recent collaboration with Madlib, Liberation, which is not entirely comforting. Liberation showcased some crazy beats and Kweli flowing at his most high-powered and creative. If you're looking for an MC who will name drop V for Vendetta or claim he's "trippin'like Cameron Diaz in Tanzania," Kweli might be for you. And if you were waiting for him to get some good production, your time has come. The driving drums and bouncing bassline on "Over the Counter" should win you over. This CD is sellin' like nuclear weapons in North Korea, yo.
