LOCAL FEST 2.0 PREVIEW; CLAPS

If you haven't heard, KRLX will present LOCAL FEST 2.0 at The Cave this Saturday, Feb. 27th. It's an annual festival celebrating our great little station and featuring some of the bands from the Twin Cities. This year four bands (Claps, Kitten Forever, Kill to Kill, Zombie Season) will perform. There are two ways to participate, either live at the Cave or listen live on air. Between sets there will be commentary, interviews, and embarrassing mishaps. This is the live radio event of the year. 9pm, Feb. 27 at the cave, don't miss it.
Here's the headlining band, CLAPS:
CLAPS exclusively use analog synthesizers to create immensely fun (and sometimes dark) dance music with memorable hooks. CLAPS is three members (two synth players and a singer!) and only started in 2008. My prediction is that they will be the cities pages best band in 2010.
